Much like volcanic eruptions, Light Upon Blight performances are uncompromising acts of spontaneous destruction and creation. Purging and destroying the old while simultaneously laying new, fertile ground. No two Light Upon Blight performances are ever the same, just as nature intended. Or see definition #2 above. Recorded live on November 9, 2014, at Cafe Nine in New Haven, CT.

Tech stuff: The improvisations were recorded live to an inexpensive 2-track digital stereo recorder. The tracks contain no edits and have only been sweetened with some minimal EQ, and limiting. The recordings are kind of lo-fi, which fits the band's aesthetic. Hope you enjoy.
