HOWL 46:24

about

On March 6, 2019, Light Upon Blight backed Karen Ponzio during her narration of Allen Ginsberg's evocative and controversial Beat poem HOWL at the Best Video Film & Cultural Center in Hamden, CT.
Dig it, man.

*Notes:
The performance was recorded on an inexpensive digital stereo recorder. The track does not contain any edits; it has only been sweetened with EQ, reverb, and limiting. The recording is kind of lo-fi, which fits the band’s aesthetic.

Raw recording source and introduction; recorded on the Suburban Poser Zoom Digital Mobile Unit: Hank Hoffman.
Mastering and ending band introduction: Jeff Cedrone

And yes, that is an alarm (the high pitched squeal) going off at the end.
