The Light Upon Blight Ensemble interpret Ornette Coleman’s 1977, Jazz-Funk classic ‘Dancing in Your Head’ & Harmolodics.

The Light Upon Blight Ensemble is the jazzier & groovier off-shoot of the Free Improv/Psych/Doom/Noise project Light Upon Blight.

Recorded Live at the Outer Space in Hamden, CT on September 1, 2017.

The performance was recorded on an inexpensive digital stereo recorder. The track contains no edits and has only been sweetened with minimal amounts of EQ, reverb, and limiting. The recording is kind of lo-fi, which fits the band’s aesthetic.
